Changed the way a user would see themselves on the screen and what lyric they are singing as they go through the song
Before
The bars seemed very "worm-like" to users and did not have the overall clean aesthetic Spotify users are accustomed to.
After
We swapped out the worm bars for lines that were a bit more sleek and aesthetically appealing while keeping tempo and pitch available to the user.
Key Adjustment 2
The mobile app was to be used as the main source of audio input for users.
Before
Users liked the initial iteration because of the scoring system but realized it was difficult to see the score on the phone as they were singing.
After
Moved the scoring off to the main screen that gets projected and kept the UI clean for users while singing. Everything the user is used to will still be on the mobile screen.
